Norashen Church

The church was built in 1467. Almost ruined it had undergone many refurbishments between 18th and XIX^th centuries. The church represents a kind of domed basilica, with facades adorned by decorative arches. Beneath the western façade, on the roof, the highlight is a small open-work rotunda of the bell tower. The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes by famous Armenian painter of the 18^th century Ovnatan Ovnatanian.
